Job Description

Summary: \n• Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of \nprojects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters \n• Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for \naccomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various \nphases of projects \n• Establishes work plans requiring multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of a project and \nmilestone to ensure scope is delivered to meet requirements \n• Leads the successful onboarding of new products, equipment and customers and adheres to \nestablished schedules, specifications, and budgets \n• Work collaboratively with program/account managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders \nto coordinate and drive program initiatives \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following: \n• Oversee and coordinate the successful onboarding of new products, equipment, customers, and \nprograms \n• Confer with project staff to outline work plan, to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of \nauthority, and obtain team buy-in on plan \n• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule \nand within prescribed budget \n• Collaborate with Product Engineering to facilitate preparation of cost estimates and budgets for \nnew programs, considering equipment costs, installation expenses, and ongoing maintenance \nrequirements \n• Confer with project personnel to escalate issues to drive resolution \n• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as \nrequired \n• Identify and manage risks and issues to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within \nbudget and in line with customers’ expectations \n• Communicate regularly with customers and vendors to arrange meetings, confirm program \nschedules, and identify and discuss any potential project problems. \n• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others \n• Communicate with management on a regular basis regarding the status of the project(s), risk, or \nissues \n• Forecast potential schedule delays and develop alternate plans to support initial commitment \n• Participate in customer meetings as required \n• Participate in strategy and planning sessions focusing on expanding Hynes’ products and \nservices \n• Other duties as assigned
