Mammography Technician

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Mammo Tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll perform specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry in Radiography (R) required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry in Mammography (M) required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) required.
• Current or eligible Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must obtain within 90 days if not current.
• CPR or equivalent certification required.
• Previous mammography experience preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

• Performs mammography exams, image-guided breast procedures, bone densitometry, and general radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging on all patient populations.
• Operates radiographic equipment in multiple settings including radiology department, emergency department, OR, special procedures, and patient bedside.
• Explains procedures, positions patients, optimizes imaging, and practices radiation safety.
