Job Summary Focus Staff is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Kansas City, Missouri. Job Details Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Type: Contract/Temporary/Travel Location: KANSAS CITY, MO Responsibilities Play an important part in helping patients recover and feel better by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws. Requirements Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements. Independent decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families. Minimum 2 years of SLP experience. Benefits Pay depends on location and experience.
