Role Overview: The Veterinary Technician is a vital member of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, assisting with surgeries, administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing diagnostic lab work. Key Responsibilities Utilize technical skills in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures. Lead and mentor team members to ensure efficient workflow and professional growth. Partner with clients by educating pet owners, reviewing medical records, and addressing questions. Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training, feedback, and maintaining high standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program. Current state veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing. Proficiency in clinical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental, radiology, and lab work. Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset. One year of veterinary experience preferred.
