Job Title and Location Common Data Environment Administrator Job Location: PDO Division Director, 205 S 17th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85007 Job Summary ADOT's Digital Delivery - Common Data Environment (CDE) Administrator will be responsible for managing ADOT's ProjectWise (or future CDE) datasource, including user list and group creation, access management and data security, CADD workspace administration, environment setup, and data workflow and state definition. This position will be responsible for developing, managing, and communicating ADOT CADD Standards, Training Materials, and Workflows with internal and external stakeholders. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Job Duties / Responsibilities Serve as ADOT's ProjectWise and Common Data Environment (CDE) Administrator, providing management and oversight of ADOT's ProjectWise (or future CDE) data workflow. Duties will include platform management, user and security administration, project setup, technical support, configuration and customization, standards compliance, and performance monitoring. Serve as ADOT's subject matter expert in Bentley's ProjectWise environment, including preparing user guidance and training materials documentation, developing and coordinating ADOT CADD Standards, vendor collaboration and coordination, and providing technical support. Duties may extend into using and managing other CDEs and software. Represent ADOT and collaborate with various stakeholders, government entities, consultants, contractors, industry and technology vendors and suppliers, to communicate, inform, and advance ADOT's Digital Delivery Initiative. May represent ADOT at conferences, peer exchanges, and networking events upon request. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) ADOT's Project Development and Digital Delivery Process. ADOT's GIS & Asset Management Process. ADOT's CADD Standards, Modeling Standards & Bentley Product use/implementation. Competent in the principles of public participation, consultant management and the role of a Project Manager. Industry best practices for managing data and digital delivery of projects. ADOT's Information Technology standard practices and requirements. ADOT's GIS & Asset Management Initiatives and Strategies. Bentley Software Applications. Skills Oral and written communication, Project Management, and team building. Researching and interpreting a wide variety of highly technical data. Listening and problem solving, personnel management, leadership and employee relationships. Computer application and computer aided analysis and design package utilization. Create and develop teams. Coach teams through change. Ability To Communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of professional and governmental representatives and the public and the ability to respond to verbal questions from the public or governmental representatives. Selective Preference(s) 5-10 years of demonstrated team leadership responsibilities, project management, process mapping, and reporting. 5-10 years of demonstrated roadway or bridge design experience utilizing Bentley software products. Pre-Employment Requirements This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
