As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and employee access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while using computer or tablet-based systems and communicating clearly with team members. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location. Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements. Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; maintain accurate logs for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and access-related activity. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, the facility perimeter, and assigned industrial areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Profficent with microsoft applications Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. buit not required Previous experience with access control system such as lenel a plus Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
