Role Description The Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Farmington, NM, focused on providing insurance and financial services solutions to client/members and prospects in the local community. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with individuals and businesses to assess their coverage and financial needs, explaining policy options and investment-related offerings within licensing and registration requirements, and recommending tailored solutions. The role involves prospecting and networking, following up on leads, conducting policy reviews, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory standards. The Salesperson collaborates with internal teams, participates in community outreach and marketing activities, and provides ongoing service to help client/members adjust their coverage as life circumstances change. Qualifications Proven sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify needs and present solutions clearly. Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients and explain complex information in accessible terms. Basic financial and insurance literacy, with the capacity to learn company products, compliance requirements, and licensing standards. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client conversations, follow-ups, and documentation. Comfort using technology and CRM tools for managing client information, scheduling, and reporting. High level of integrity, professional ethics, and a client-focused mindset aligned with regulatory and company expectations. Ability to work independently on-site in Farmington, NM, while collaborating effectively with colleagues and leadership. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Willingness to obtain and maintain appropriate insurance licenses and registrations as required for the products offered.
