AI Architect, Principal AI Engineer - Healthcare

Salary: $200,000 - 300,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring 10+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation.
• We have hands-on experience designing and deploying Generative AI and AI/ML solutions in enterprise settings.
• We understand large language models, AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and AI application design patterns.
• We have delivered production-ready AI solutions from concept through rollout.
• We have a strong software engineering foundation with Python, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
• We have experience designing AI workflows, orchestration approaches, tool integrations, and enterprise AI architectures.
• We have worked with cloud AI platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• We can translate business needs into technical architectures and explain solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
• We have worked directly with stakeholders, clients, or cross-functional teams in consulting or enterprise environments.
• We have experience with AI governance, security, monitoring, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI practices.
• We bring healthcare industry experience, including payer/provider workflows, healthcare operations, and regulated environments.
• We understand healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and healthcare data privacy.
• Nice-to-have experience includes AI Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Consulting Architect roles.
• We have experience building agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
• We have worked with Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or other enterprise LLM platforms.
• We have built healthcare AI solutions for claims processing, prior authorization, utilization management, care management, member/provider engagement, revenue cycle management, or payment integrity.
• We are familiar with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, and claims data structures.
• We have experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise search solutions.
• We have integrated AI solutions with platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Epic, or healthcare workflow systems.
• We have created reusable AI accelerators, reference architectures, and enterprise AI frameworks.
• We have supported AI adoption, enablement, and training for business and engineering teams.
• We have experience in highly regulated industries where security, governance, and auditability are essential.

• We partner with healthcare executives, business stakeholders, clinical leaders, and technology teams to identify AI transformation opportunities and shape AI-driven solutions.
• We convert complex healthcare challenges into scalable AI architectures, technical strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
• We design enterprise AI solutions using Generative AI, large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and intelligent automation.
• We define solution patterns such as multi-agent architectures, workflow orchestration, knowledge retrieval systems, and enterprise AI integrations.
• We lead AI solution development from discovery and architecture through prototyping, production deployment, and optimization.
• We design AI-enabled workflows that improve healthcare operations such as claims processing, prior authorization, care management, provider operations, member services, and payment integrity.
• We build and oversee AI applications using modern AI frameworks, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise data ecosystems.
• We collaborate with engineering, data science, product, security, and governance teams to drive scalable, secure, and responsible AI adoption.
• We establish AI architecture standards, best practices, reusable frameworks, and accelerators for enterprise delivery.
• We support AI governance through model monitoring, explainability, security, compliance, and responsible AI implementation.
• We lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, executive presentations, and solution demos with client stakeholders.
• We mentor engineering teams and help business teams adopt AI tools, workflows, and AI-native operating models.
