You'll collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and provide patient education, making a significant impact on their health and well-being. Systematically gather and evaluate patient information to develop appropriate care plans Administer respiratory therapy treatments and oxygen therapy Measure and administer correct medication dosages per physician's orders Perform Pulmonary Function tests and EKGs following ATS Standards Set up and assess mechanical ventilators, including BIPAP and CPAP units Provide patient education on cardiopulmonary medication and equipment Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and delegate tasks when appropriate Need 1 year experience in setting Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Therapy program Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (or eligible) Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the State of Massachusetts ACLS, NRP, and PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire Basic computer skills required Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
