Job Description
The Dishwasher supports a restaurant kitchen by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils throughout service. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager and General Manager, this role also assists with food preparation and keeps kitchen equipment and work areas clean before, during, and after service.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils continuously during service.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation and follow food safety practices.
- Organize clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen items for efficient access.
- Complete pre-service and post-service kitchen cleaning.
- Clean kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed.
- Provide dependable assistance to the restaurant kitchen team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating commercial dishwashers.
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation practices.
- Understanding of food safety procedures.
