Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Havre, MT. Start date: 08/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,906-$3,060 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating days and nights. Setting: hospital, with Labor & Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum units and newborn care. This assignment includes rotation call and requires MT licensure with ACLS, NRP, and BLS qualifications. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for obstetrical patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Care for newborns, perform newborn assessments, monitor vitals, and support family education and breastfeeding initiation
• Monitor fetal status, contractions, maternal vitals, pain control, and medication administration; respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, handoffs, and procedures, and provide patient and family education
• Document accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and quality standards
• Participate in rotating call as required and provide continuity of care through shift transitions and handoffs

Requirements

• Montana RN license (active) or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Certifications: ACLS, NRP, and BLS required
• Demonstrated ability to work a 12-hour rotating day/night schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum areas is preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in a remote area; review facility profile for details
• In-state Montana travelers will not be considered unless traveling from a location more than 250 miles away
• Eligible to work in the United States
