Key Responsibilities Serve meals and beverages to residents, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are observed. Assist residents in making meal choices, taking into consideration their individual needs and tastes. Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals, maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and communicate residents’ needs effectively. Provide friendly and attentive service, fostering a warm atmosphere during mealtime. Monitor residents' food intake and report any concerns regarding nutrition or dietary needs to the appropriate personnel. Assist with special events and social gatherings as directed, including theme nights or holiday celebrations. Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and cleanliness protocols. Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to serving in an assisted living environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with staff and residents. Knowledge of dietary needs and food safety practices is a plus.
