Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients either in an inpatient or outpatient setting and develop tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercise routines
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility and regulatory requirements
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to promote coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in the field is strongly preferred
