Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8.0 - Day Shift

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that promote effective return to community activities. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while performing other professional duties related to patient care and therapy service development.

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on patient discharge within established timelines.
• Document medical records in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and completion of evaluations.
• Actively engage in professional development through continuing education and organizational participation.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives and follow through with action plans.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• Active and applicable license for the state of practice.
