About the Role The Amazon Marketplace Manager will be responsible for the strategic growth, daily management, and optimization of Shaka Wear\'s Amazon marketplace business. This on-site role will oversee product listings, advertising, inventory planning, brand protection, performance metrics, and marketplace expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on Amazon marketplace expertise and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Objectives of the Role Amazon Marketplace Management Manage and optimize all aspects of Shaka Wear\'s Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts. Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, profitability, market share, and brand visibility. Monitor account health and ensure compliance with Amazon policies and performance standards. Identify and resolve listing issues, suppressed products, stranded inventory, and catalog inconsistencies. Product Listings & Content Optimization Create, optimize, and maintain product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, videos, and A+ Content. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings. Manage new product launches and marketplace expansion initiatives. Ensure all product content accurately reflects brand standards and product specifications. Amazon Advertising Develop, manage, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns, including: Sponsored Products Sponsored Brands Sponsored Display Amazon DSP (preferred) Analyze advertising performance and continuously improve ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, and conversion rates. Manage advertising budgets and provide regular performance reporting. Inventory & Operations Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to maintain healthy inventory levels. Forecast demand and coordinate replenishment plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Monitor fulfillment performance, customer service metrics, and operational efficiency. Analytics & Reporting Analyze marketplace performance using Amazon reports, business intelligence tools, and third-party software. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Revenue growth Conversion rates Advertising efficiency Inventory turnover Buy Box ownership Prepare weekly and monthly business reviews with actionable recommendations. Brand Protection Monitor unauthorized sellers and marketplace violations. Manage Brand Registry activities and intellectual property enforcement efforts. Protect pricing integrity and brand reputation across Amazon channels. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with marketing, creative, product development, customer service, and operations teams. Coordinate promotional campaigns, seasonal launches, and marketplace initiatives. Stay current on Amazon platform changes, industry trends, and emerging opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field preferred. 3+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace management experience. Proven track record of growing Amazon sales and profitability. Strong understanding of: Amazon Seller Central Amazon Brand Registry Amazon PPC advertising Develop, launch, manage, and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and other Amazon advertising opportunities. Marketplace SEO Inventory forecasting Experience with Amazon analytics and reporting tools. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with third-party marketplace software such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, DataHawk, or similar platforms preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing apparel or fashion marketplace accounts. Experience with multi-channel e-commerce operations. Knowledge of Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, and other online marketplaces. Experience with AI-powered marketplace tools and automation platforms. Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems.
