This is a full-time remote position, with an expectation of availability during regular business hours, supplemented with occasional evening shifts to accommodate client needs. Although primarily remote, therapists will engage closely with our outpatient office team and medical professionals via virtual meetings, ensuring comprehensive care and resource sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Aviara Rehab and Counseling Center primarily serves individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress. Our clientele encompasses children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a mental health counselor, you will develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges that our diverse patient community encounters, ensuring your therapeutic approach is culturally competent and tailored to each client's needs.

Qualifications\n

  • Active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • \n
  • A strong understanding of the mental health challenges faced by a hospital or outpatient population.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse array of patients.

  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices and brief therapy techniques applicable to outpatient counseling settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
