About the Role You will be a senior engineer on the x360Sync team at ConnectWise, owning development of the macOS agent — a native desktop application at the heart of the x360Sync backup and file sync product. The application is primarily written in C++, with Swift and Objective-C used for macOS-native components. You will be stepping into a mature codebase with real ownership and scope from day one. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain features in the x360Sync macOS agent, working primarily in C++ with Swift and Objective-C for platform-native integrations - Debug and resolve production issues, including deep-dive investigation across the application stack and macOS system APIs - Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing technical recommendations grounded in macOS platform best practices - Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews — both giving and receiving constructive feedback - Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule without cutting corners on quality - Contribute to improving engineering standards, internal tooling, and development processes - Help scope and break down complex problems into well-defined tasks for yourself and the broader team - Document technical decisions, system behavior, and processes clearly for teammates and future contributors Mandatory skills C++ OR "C++17" OR "C++20" Linux "Linux System Programming" Multithreading IPC OR XPC Sockets OR "Socket Programming" macOS Objective-C OR "Objective-C++" DLP OR "Data Loss Prevention" "Endpoint Security" Required Qualifications Technical - Solid professional experience writing C++ in a production environment - Strong working knowledge of macOS internals, frameworks, and platform APIs (e. g.
