This position involves working night shifts, with a schedule of 4x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Shift Details\n \n Shift: 4x12 hours, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) \n Staffing Ratios: Generally 1:6 (can flex to 1:7 in case of unplanned absences) \n Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend \n On-Call Requirement: Yes, as needed for low census \n Floating: Yes, within scope and to similar units \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred \n First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n Active South Carolina nursing license or compact license required prior to start \n Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required \n Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n Experience with Epic electronic health record system is a must \n Skills required: Medical/Surgical nursing, Telemetry monitoring, Insulin administration, Rapid Response participation \n Miscellaneous Information\n \n Free parking available on-site \n Garment color: Royal Blue scrubs \n All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission for approval \n The facility may call off 1 shift within every 2 weeks \n Additional Information\n Travelers should note that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
