Job Title: Maintenance Director

At Hickory Grove Post Acute, we are seeking a Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, the Maintenance Director will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all maintenance and repair activities, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the facility's integrity and overall functionality

• Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication

• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards

• Manage and coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

• Maintenance experience in a similar setting (post-acute care, hospital, or long-term care facility)

• Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair practices, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

• Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to supervise and train staff

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
