Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Part-Time
Join the Hadley Pointe for Nursing Rehab and Care Team!
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our part-time team at Hadley Pointe for Nursing Rehab and Care in Hadley, Massachusetts. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
About the Role:
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses and conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, promoting optimal health and well-being
Perform physical therapy treatments, exercises, and activities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Monitor patient progress, record treatment outcomes, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, as well as adhere to established policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing
Participate in patient assessments, goal setting, and treatment planning with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals
Assist with patient education, training, and discharge planning, ensuring patients and families understand treatment plans and receive necessary support
Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion, promoting a positive patient experience
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field
Current PTA licensure in the State of Massachusetts
Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting, with a focus on patient-centered care
