Safety Conscience Heavy Equipment OperatorPlum Thicket Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team in Harper, Kansas.Pay: $22 - $24 per hour, based on your experienceWhy You Need To Join Us:Culture: It's a great place to work! We keep our promises to our customers and our employees.Duties And Responsibilities:Spreading and compacting trash using a compactorSpreading daily cover using a dozerExcavating soil using an excavatorMaintaining haul roads using a graderHauling soilWork in a fast paced, team environmentFollow safe operating practicesLearn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWorking Conditions And Physical Effort:Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
