As a part time, nonexempt Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a hands-on role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Working under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists, you will implement treatment plans, support patient progress, and contribute to a collaborative care environment. Location: Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio Schedule: This part-time, nonexempt position will work 18 hours/week weekdays and as needed on weekends. Rehab Department Hours: Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-6:30pm, and Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm. Saturday and Sunday are on an on-call, as needed basis. The Rehab Department utilizes Epic. Primary Responsibilities: Perform physical therapy treatments according to plan of care in outpatient, acute care, or home health settings Monitor patient responses to treatment and ensure exercises are performed safely and correctly Document via Epic or Homecare application Perform clinical upkeep as needed Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation staff Adhere to state practice acts, facility policies, and professional standards You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing (or eligibility) Preferred Qualification: Experience in a hospital or acute care setting Experience with Parkinson's treatment and/or vestibular treatment Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
