What You’ll Do Lead a winning team on your shift Set the tone with a cheerful, can‑do attitude that motivates your team Provide clear direction and step in to assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling Coach team members in real‑time, offering guidance and support during every shift Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary Drive operational excellence by ensuring meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards Ensure proper execution of inventory, vendor check‑in, and promotional communication Oversee key store processes including write‑offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day Effectively relay important updates from leadership to shift associates Provide real‑time constructive feedback to associates and upscale when required Model teamwork and accountability by arriving on time, stepping in during busy periods, and collaborating effectively Maintain knowledge of all RaceTrac policies and local safety regulations, ensuring staff compliance Conduct regular store walkthroughs to ensure tasks are executed correctly and provide feedback Collaborate with vendors to receive orders accurately and maintain positive relationships Monitor inventory, supplies, and merchandise to ensure accurate stock levels Qualifications 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service (preferred) 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred) Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑volume, guest‑focused environments Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same Strong communication and team‑building skills Must have a High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.) Vendor management experience (preferred) Previous experience in high‑volume, transactional environments (preferred) Previous experience in a retail environment (preferred) Equal Opportunity Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment with RaceTrac without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr RaceTrac
