WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING LocatedatourByron Center, MI location,theProduction Support rolecollaborates with our warehouse team and oversees material receipts and storage, order preparation, and delivery of material.Day-to-day responsibilities include: Modeling Lumbermen’s core values Coordinating and customer returns in a timely manner Coordinating Vendor returns in a timely manner Approaching work each day with a positive attitude Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of production operations and needs Properly managing the inventory from vendor and customer returns Managing and restocking production with Production Expense Items Having a “customer first” mindset and mentality Strong organizational skills Problem solving when there are issue within the process Leading 5S efforts to create a visual place for everything Assisting the team as needed Performing other tasks/duties as requested by the Prep Supervisor At Lumbermen’s, our business is built on relationships.It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success. This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.
