System Administrator 3

Overview Join AZAD as a System Administrator to be part of a small group focused on automation and Infrastructure as code. This position will provide Operating System configuration, security hardening, system patching and collaborating with other team members to automate OS configuration leveraging our suite of on prem private cloud tools. This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full time on-site weekly in Vancouver, Washington. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00-$65.00 hour depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. Responsibilities Provide Operating System configuration and security hardening. Perform system patching and maintenance. Collaborate with team members to automate OS configuration using our suite of on prem private cloud tools. Support and maintain a virtualized and converged computer environment. Qualifications A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred. 6 years of experience is required with an associate or bachelor’s degree in applicable fields. 10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree. Experience must include direct work experience in Information Technology performing System Administration. Experience includes a minimum combination of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training. Working knowledge and experience sufficient to successfully support and maintain a virtualized and converged computer environment. 5 years of experience working knowledge and experience sufficient to successfully support, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux infrastructure.
