Position Overview: As a Data Center Construction Project Manager with over 7 years of experience, you will be instrumental in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale data center projects. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A strong understanding of hyper‑scale data center construction is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and implement comprehensive construction plans for data center projects. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones and deliverables. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, working closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Provide technical support and leadership to construction teams throughout all phases of the project. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges. Foster a collaborative, positive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication among project stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center construction project management. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including design principles, installation methods, and industry best practices. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and third‑party consultants. In‑depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to data center construction. Ability to be onsite. Benefits: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
