Security Supervisor

Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services

Join our team at Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living as the Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services for our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring program and procedural compliance, overseeing quality assurance and improvement, conducting investigations, providing training, and offering administrative support.

Schedule: Night Shift; 7pm - 7am

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, starting at $24.35/hr

How you will make an impact:

• Responsible for the security of the community through the use of gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management, and other programs
• Monitor safety programs to include; Security Department safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication programs, respiratory mask fit testing programs, and others as needed
• Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports and responds to calls for service
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, counseling of employees
• Establish schedules, reviews and approves timesheets, completes performance evaluations
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports

What you will need:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Responder role
• Current valid driver's license
