About the Role:
Join Barrett School LLC as an ELA HS Lead Teacher in beautiful Destin, FL! We are seeking a passionate educator to inspire high school students through engaging English Language Arts instruction and foster a love for literature and writing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with state standards.
• Facilitate engaging classroom discussions to enhance critical thinking skills.
• Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
• Support students' individual learning needs and promote a positive classroom culture.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in educational practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Valid teaching certification for high school English Language Arts.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Proficient in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
• Passion for literature and a commitment to student success.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
