The Ocean Club is hiring an expeditor. Expo (Food Expeditor)

Position Summary:

The Expo ensures accurate, timely execution of all dishes while acting as the communication bridge between the kitchen and service team. This role is essential to maintaining flow, quality, and guest satisfaction during service.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage ticket flow and coordinate timing of all orders
  • Ensure food is plated correctly, complete, and meets presentation standards
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams on all orders and modifications
  • Organize and call tickets to maintain efficient service
  • Assist with final garnishes and plate checks before food leaves the line
  • Maintain a clean, organized expo station
  • Might have to run food at times
Qualifications:
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
