Travel Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse - $1,918 per week

Overview ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing position in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Details Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts) Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Minimum required experience: 2+ years of recent bedside hospital experience Urgency: ASAP start, must be available within 5 weeks Travel or local RN acceptable; first time travelers are encouraged to apply Pay: based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax‑free stipend amount to be determined Referral bonus: $750 Responsibilities Provide care in a progressive care unit focused on cardiovascular patient monitoring Maintain a 1:4 patient ratio across all shifts Complete 36‑hour orientation Work approximately 50% of weekends, as required by contract Float to Med‑Surg, PCU, and ICU levels within the facility and affiliate hospitals Assume charge nurse responsibilities with training and resources provided Precept students and participate in shadowing programs at this teaching facility Adhere to call‑in policy, making up shifts or extending contract as needed Complete 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled Qualifications & Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS (preferred) Required experience: Trauma Level I, 2 years of nursing experience Skills: Cardiac PCU, drips, post‑Cath lab procedures, IV starts, sheath pulls Preferred skills: Conscious sedation, telemetry Ability to manage cardiovascular diagnoses such as CHF, post‑MI, cardiac arrhythmias, COPD Experience with post‑Cath lab procedures, pre‑LVAD placements, and pre‑heart/lung transplants Proficient with cardiac drips, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management Charting system experience preferred: Cerner Benefits Referral bonus of $750 Opportunity for contract extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment Travel nursing assignments in Indianapolis, Indiana #J-18808-Ljbffr ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC
