Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college preparatory school, committed to the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social development of young women in grades 6 through 12. Working with the support of the Director of Athletics, the Head Junior Varsity Coach is responsible for assisting in developing all players in the program on and off the court through a championship caliber environment, an open door for competition and development of skills, character, and leadership at all levels.
The fall season starts August 24 and runs until October 30. Practices are held at Cabin John Courts Monday – Friday from 4:00-5:30. Matches occur 1-2 times per week and start at 4:15.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and assist in the development of the tennis program
- Foster a positive environment.
- Maintain flexible schedule for after-school practices and matches.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, coaches, and community.
- Experience coaching/participating in tennis at the high school or collegiate level. Knowledge of applicable league rules.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills

COMPENSATION
The stipend for this position is $4,000 for the season.
