Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Perform Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and High Risk Pregnancy monitoring
• Manage and assess patients in antepartum, labor/high-risk, and triage settings
• Float to postpartum as needed, including couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Participate in newborn role in the delivery room when applicable
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required Certifications: AWHONN Advanced (or NCC EFM), ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM — AHA certification required for ACLS/BLS
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing the newborn role in the delivery room
• Ability to provide postpartum couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics or antepartum care
