Join our dynamic team as a Cleanroom Production Operator in the cartridge department. You will be involved in assembling cartridges and working collaboratively on a manufacturing line. Your role will include monitoring semi-automated manufacturing processes, working across four different lines involving inspections, automated machines, sub-assembly/welding, and testing. You will be responsible for reviewing batch records and ensuring documentation accuracy, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cartridges in a cleanroom environment.
• Collaborate with team members on the manufacturing line to complete assemblies.
• Monitor semi-automated manufacturing processes.
• Operate and manage tasks across four lines: inspections, automated machines, sub-assembly/welding, and testing.
• Review batch records and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Proficiency in computer use for training and documentation purposes.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Medical device handling experience.
• Proficiency in inspection and GMP compliance.
• Strong work ethic and trainability.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

Work Environment

Work in an ISO Class 8 Cleanroom in the cartridge department. Flexibility is crucial, as the pace will increase and you may be required to work in different departments, including the possibility of moving to another building. Candidates need to be open to cross-training and flexible with overtime. The work environment requires adherence to a strict dress code, including wearing cleanroom PPE, hand washing, and avoiding fragrances, makeup, or fake nails. The available shifts are from 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (1st shift) and 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (2nd shift) from Monday to Thursday.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
