Inside Sales Position

Honest Abe Roofing is growing in southeast Michigan, serving homeowners throughout the Plymouth, Ann Arbor, Dexter, and Farmington Hills area. We're looking for someone who brings more than a rsum to work every day. We want a positive, organized, customer-focused person with a "can-do" attitude who enjoys talking to people, solving problems, generating opportunities, and helping a team succeed.

This is an Inside Sales position, but we're a growing local businesswhich means everyone pitches in. One minute you may be helping a homeowner schedule a roofing appointment. The next, you may be following up on an unsold opportunity, helping generate new leads, checking that a customer file is complete, or solving a problem before it becomes a bigger one. If your natural response is "I'll figure it out" rather than "That's not my job," we want to talk to you.

Your #1 responsibility is helping turn opportunities into customer appointments. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our homeowners and will play an important role in the customer's experience from their first inquiry through completion of their project. Your responsibilities will include:

• Respond quickly to new leads by phone, text, and email
• Speak confidently with homeowners and schedule qualified appointments for our Roofing Advisors
• Follow up consistently with leads who haven't scheduled yet
• Confirm appointments and help reduce cancellations and no-shows
• Follow up after sales appointments and help recover opportunities that weren't initially sold
• Make outbound calls and conduct other lead-generation activities
• Help identify creative ways to generate new business in our local market
• Provide a professional, friendly experience every time you interact with a customer
• Keep customer information, appointments, notes, and job records accurate in our CRM
• Help ensure paperwork and customer files are complete and organized
• Assist with payments, invoices, permits, project documentation, and other administrative needs as required
• Communicate issues quickly instead of allowing them to fall through the cracks
• Help teammates when something needs to get doneeven when it isn't specifically listed in your job description

Experience in inside sales, customer service, marketing, lead generation, construction, roofing, or home services is helpfulbut attitude, initiative, communication skills, and attention to detail matter most.
