MRI Technologist
Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA)
Role: MRI Technologist responsible for operating high-field MRI equipment, performing complex imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Screen patients for MR safety and assist radiologists with procedures. Administer contrast media, start IVs, and evaluate scan quality. Schedule procedures, manage patient records, and charge for services. Operate power injectors, maintain equipment, and ensure proper positioning. Provide training and orientation for new technologists, students, and physicians. Assist in protocol development, research support, and imaging techniques. Qualifications & Skills Certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or MR (ARRT or ARMRIT in MR within 18 months). Minimum two years' MRI experience; four years for advanced levels. Graduate of an accredited program; BLS certification required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
