CNC Lathe Operator

Pay Range: $24-$29/hour Sign‑on bonus: $2,000 for first shift. Job description We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes to produce quality parts according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine setups, inspections, precision measurement tools, and working knowledge of G‑code and M‑code. Responsibilities Set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes Load and unload raw material and finished parts Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Perform machine setups, including tooling changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments Read and understand basic G and M code Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments during production Perform in‑process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances Deburr and clean machined parts Identify and report quality issues, machine problems, or non‑conforming parts Maintain accurate production and inspection records Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety and quality procedures Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s goals. Lifting guidelines in accordance with the Manual Lifting Guidelines noted in the Safety Handbook. Follow all environmental requirements consistently with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals. Complete and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.
