StewardSt Andrews Country Club Property Association - Boca Raton, FL 33496OverviewSalary Range $17.00 - $18.00DescriptionPosition Summary:Primarily responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools. Responsible for washing dishes, china ware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment, etc. Maintains the kitchen, dish washing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with local authority and Club guidelines.Essential Responsibilities:Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained, and organized at all timesEnsure floors are dry and clean at all timesOperate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standardsAdhere to all sanitation guidelinesCollects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established proceduresDispose of waste as per the Club and authority standardsEnsure waste bin area is kept clean and tidyCarry out general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of trash bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containersCleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established proceduresCleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard proceduresEnsure all equipment is clean and in good working orderWash, wipe, sort, stack dishes, load/unload dishwasher, and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe mannerOther duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge and Skill RequirementsAbility to perform the above responsibilities in a satisfactory mannerKnowledge and proficiency to operate industrial dish washersAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to work under pressureWorks efficiently with limited supervisionReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education & Work Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or G.E.D recommended but not requiredPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear.
