DevOps Engineer – Retail Media Network (RMN) in Minneapolis, MN

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

GCP Platform Engineering

• Design and automate GCP landing zones centered on GKE and data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Vertex AI).

• Establish opinionated defaults for networking, IAM, observability, and security.

Infrastructure as Code (Kubernetes Native)

• Provision and manage GCP resources using Crossplane and/or GCP Config Connector.

• Expose cloud capabilities via Kubernetes APIs and GitOps workflows.

• Use Terraform only to provision AWS EKS clusters.

AWS & Multi Cloud Enablement

• Operate and evolve AWS EKS environments.

• Enable secure, reliable connectivity between AWS and GCP.

GitOps & Delivery

• Drive GitOps based deployments with ArgoCD.

• Partner with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) to enable safe, automated delivery.

AI/ML Platform Support

• Enable infrastructure for ML training, inference, and large scale data pipelines.

• Optimize for performance, low latency data access, and cost efficiency.

Reliability & Observability

• Define SLOs and implement monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Cloud Monitoring.

• Improve stability of data heavy and ML driven workloads.

Security & Governance

• Implement IAM guardrails, network controls, and security baselines across GCP and AWS.

• Protect sensitive retail and advertising data by design.

Roles & Responsibilities

• 3+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.

• Strong Kubernetes experience in production (GKE and/or EKS).

• Hands on experience with Crossplane, GCP Config Connector, or similar Kubernetes based IaC tools.

• Working knowledge of AWS core services (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM).

• Experience with ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of cloud networking (DNS, load balancing, ingress).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or IT related field
