Quality Technician

Overview

We are hiring a Quality Technician to help ensure products meet customer and company quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting products, recording results, identifying issues, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

Perform quality inspections on finished products and materials
Measure parts and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
Inspect products for defects, damage, and quality issues
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records
Identify and document nonconforming materials or production issues
Support problem-solving and process improvement efforts
Communicate quality concerns with production and management teams

Skills and Experience

Experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred
Ability to use precision measuring tools
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic data entry
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materials
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
Experience with metal fabrication or production processes
