Cutter Operator - Printing Production

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing printing manufacturer who is hiring a Cutter Operator to join their team! This is a 2nd shift, contract-hire position, working 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor cutting equipment for production runs.
• Review work orders and job specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Perform machine make-readies, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to maintain quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished products throughout production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Accurately record production information, material usage, and waste.
• Communicate production status and any quality or equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of cutter operating experience in the printing, packaging, or paperboard industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to read work orders, use measuring tools, and perform basic math calculations.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work around production equipment.
