Duties will include: Advising patients on frame weights, materials, styles, and colors Recommending lenses, coatings, and frames to suit customers' needs Measuring customers to determine suitable types and styles of frames Adjusting and repairing eyeglass frames to fit properly Preparing orders for glasses and contact lenses by checking prescriptions, lens thickness, and other specifications Making sure that orders for glasses and contact lenses are processed accurately Assisting office as needed with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and other clerical duties. Characteristics required for the job: Ability to learn from experiences to plan with a great deal of autonomy Self-directed approach with motivation and self-initiation Ability to keep calm under pressure and remain emotionally stable and consistent Organization Skills Comfort with computer systems and electronic health records Multitasking Skills Enthusiastic Attitude Experience: We are willing to train the right individual.
