Our client is seeking Events & Marketing Coordinator!

This position is part-time (25 hr/weekly) to start then ramping up to 60 hour requirement for the first two weeks in November. If successful this position will become full-time.

Position Summary


The Events & Marketing Coordinator supports event execution, facility operations, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. This role ensures smooth delivery of programs, rentals, and visitor services while maintaining a strong public-facing presence.

Core Responsibilities

Event Support

• Coordinate event schedules, hospitality, and guest experience.
• Support special events such as the Clay Shoot and Volunteer Party.
• Assist with artist, exhibitor, and sponsor communications.
• Provide on-site support during programs and peak event periods.
• Serve as a daily visitor contact

Marketing & Communications

• Manage social media, marketing campaigns, and public relations.
• Develop promotional materials, signage, and email marketing.
• Triage facts email inquiries and phone calls.

Volunteer Coordination

• Coordinate volunteer communication, scheduling, and event assignments.
• Support volunteer oversight during programs and retail operations.

Facilities & Rentals

• Market building rentals and oversee contract fulfillment.
• Conduct tours, prepare agreements, and track rental payments.
• Provide on-site or on-call supervision for rental events.
• Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and Armory operations.

Administrative & Retail Support

• Support retail operations and volunteer coordination.
• Assist with reception, documentation, scheduling, and general office tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet during events.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive to local event sites as needed.
