Lighthouse Electric Internship Program

Lighthouse Electric extends hands-on work experience opportunities to college students and post-high-school individuals through our internship program. Interns will actively engage in real projects within various departments of the company, gaining valuable skills and knowledge.

Our Project Management internship goes beyond a traditional summer job; it is a professional and educational experience designed to equip interns with the expertise needed for a successful postgraduate career.

We highly value the internship experience when considering candidates for future roles within our company, aiming to cultivate the next generation of Project Managers. Lighthouse Electric seeks motivated individuals who aspire to make a positive impact in their community and grow personally and professionally. Our ideal Project Management internship candidates should:

• Be enrolled in a four-year institution, two-year technical school, or possess a High School diploma/GED.
• Have a major or interest in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrate a proactive, open-minded approach, a strong eagerness to learn, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Duration of Internship & Expected Work Hours:

Anticipated Start Date: May 17th, 2027.

8-12 Weeks; Monday-Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Location: Canonsburg Office and various job sites (travel is primarily local during the business day)
