CDL Driver

Responsible for the operation of City‑owned motorized vehicles classified as “heavy”. Work is performed under the supervision of a higher grade. No supervision is exercised over other employees. Responsibilities Operates street sweepers, rubbish trucks, asphalt paving equipment, and snow plow as needed. Performs minor maintenance to vehicles as needed (i.e. oil, lubrication, etc.). Performs related work as required. Qualifications Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools, equipment, and techniques of the trade. Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Skill in the use and care of tools, equipment, and materials of the trade. High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of related experience. Commercial Driver’s License.
