Embark on a fulfilling opportunity as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist supporting special education students in a vibrant educational setting. This in-person, contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact from mid-December 2026 through the end of March 2027.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement strategies that maximize student success
• Conducting assessments, writing progress reports, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Supporting students in the classroom and other school environments to promote functional independence and access to the curriculum
• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license required
• Strong background in school-based OT practices and familiarity with IEP processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
