RN - Registered Nurse

New RN's Looking to get experience before working in a hospital. Experienced RN's loking for a slower pace than the Hospital. Long term Care RN's just looking for a better place to work . The Anderson is a well established and respected facility in Anderson Township . Our higher staffing levels help contribute the the better care of our residents, less turnover and a better work experience for our employees. 12 hour shifts 7 -7:30 every other weekend set schedules Responsibilities Record a patient7s medical history accurately Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Monitor patients7 condition. Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc. Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Provide emotional and psychological support when needed Communicate with patients7 family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions Skills Proven experience as RN or similar role Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Excellent knowledge of medical terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and able to handle stress Successful completion of RN license program is a must #J-18808-Ljbffr Great Oaks
