• Hours/Week: Variable, guaranteed minimum of 8 hours; OT applies after 12 hours (pre-approval needed)

• License/Certs: Active CA license, ABEM or ABEOM certification
• Experience: BC or BE within 5 years

What You'll Do

• Provide emergency medicine coverage at a high-volume hospital with an average of 110 patients daily
• Manage acute patient care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Perform triage, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and efficiently in medical records
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Maintain licensure and certification compliance throughout the assignment

What You Need
Required:

• Active California medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABEOM, not ABIM/ABFM)
• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in emergency medicine (for specialty privileges)

Preferred:

• Recent experience working in high-volume EDs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work night shifts consistently
