Leak Survey Technician

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Leak Survey Technician to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting leak detection surveys on pipelines and related infrastructure to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. Location: Kansas City, MO Key Responsibilities Perform leak detection surveys using specialized equipment such as gas detectors, ultrasonic devices, and other industry-standard tools. Inspect pipelines, valves, and other infrastructure for leaks and potential safety hazards. Document findings accurately and prepare detailed reports for maintenance and repair teams. Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during field operations. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize and address leak issues. Maintain and calibrate leak detection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Respond promptly to emergency leak calls as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in leak detection or related field preferred. Previous experience in leak detection, pipeline inspection, or a related role is highly desirable. Familiarity with leak detection equipment and safety standards. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor and sometimes challenging environments.
