Pharmacy professionals are sought for a contract position in a busy hospital setting located in the San Mateo area. Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Schedule: Variable days and afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring smooth workflow
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and safety
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for order entry and medication dispensing
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacist License preferred (newer graduates encouraged to apply)
- Pharmacy staff experience with prescription verification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
