Job Title: Terminal Operator | Req ID: 17856| HR Contact: Kyle Jon KEMPEN| Location: Milwaukee Terminal WI About the Role The Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars, boatsand/or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc. Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and roadmethods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location. Understand and operate truck loading equipment. Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanicalmaintenance. Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies. Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment. Perform clerical functions Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit thesebehaviors. Other duties as assigned. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Education: High School diploma/GED Required Work Experience: 1 - 3 years Licenses Preferred: Valid Driver’s License Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP Additional Requirements: Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance. A good understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process or logistics is preferred. Demonstrates technical skills in welding, machine repair, and basic electricity Terminal Worker Identification Card (TWIC) is required Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
